Internet Explorer 7 MultiLanguage User Interface (MUI) has been designed to make everyday tasks easier, provide dynamic security protection and improve the development platform and manageability.

The Internet Explorer 7 MUI is a set of language-specific resource files that may be added to the English version of Windows with the OS MUI pack and Internet Explorer 7 installed.

The Internet Explorer 7 MUI lets the browser user interface (UI) language to be changed to any of the supported languages according to the preferences of individual users.

This allows large corporations to roll out the same worldwide image by using a single install job. Local users can then select the UI language or the UI language can be set by Group Policy for organizational units.

Internet Explorer 7 MUI allows the user interface language of the browser to be changed to one of the following supported languages: Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lithuanian, Latvian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish.

Requirements
  • Supported Operating Systems: Windows XP Media Center Edition; Windows XP Service Pack 2
  • The OS MUI language pack for the desired MUI language must be installed. The IE7 MUI language packs can be installed on the following language versions of Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005: Traditional Chinese(Hong Kong), Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), Czech, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian(BokmÃ¥l), Polish, Portuguese(Portugal), Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish.
  • Windows Internet Explorer 7 must be installed.
