Mapwing Viewer allows you to open Mapwing Project files (.flyp) and Mapwing Streaming files (.flys).
Mapwing virtual reality tours are created with Mapwing Creator Pro.
Mapwing is not another suite for creating 360º panoramas. Instead, it relies upon a unique system for building virtual reality from ordinary digital photos.
You simply stand at a given location or “point”, capture four digital photographs approximating the views from north, south, east, and west, and then import these into Mapwing Creator Pro.
The software does the rest, creating a virtual reality representation of that point. Multiple points may be linked together, enabling you to move seamlessly between locations. Mapwing also supports hotspots which enhance each point by adding links to websites and detail images.
Mapwing Viewer makes it easy to share a world made with Mapwing Creator Pro. A free download, Mapwing Viewer will open any Mapwing file, allowing you to tour a virtual reality world without Mapwing Creator Pro. The viewer also interfaces with the World Wide Web. This enables you to embed hyperlinks to tours within your website or homepage.
