Paradion Easy Editor is an object graphics editor for the easy creation of Paradion messages.
This editor is available free of charge to anyone interested.
Paradion Easy Editor can work with a full-colour document comprising photographs, texts and imports of scanned images and drawings.
During work on the message, you can move individual objects around as you wish, change their size, or remove them.
The editor saves work in progress on an object basis. The document can be exported to the graphical format .bmp or .jpg at any time.
You can set up a new document by pressing ‘New Document’. For the preparation of your Paradion message, an area of 3500 x 2500 pixels has been predefined; you choose whether to work with this space vertically or horizontally.
The program also lets you enter your own size, but you cannot use this for Paradion messages.
If you have been assigned a Paradion ID number, enter it, including the noughts at the beginning. The predefined background colour is white. You can change the colour by pressing the ‘Change’ button
You can save the document at any time by pressing ‘Save Document’ and you can open saved documents by pressing ‘Open Document’. On reopening a document, all objects can be manipulated without restriction.
The document can be exported into .jpg or .bmp format by pressing ‘Export Document’. In the export dialogue box, select the directory where you want to send the image.
For Paradion requirements, use .jpg format; the resultant file size is much smaller but retains its quality. The filename should be P + your Paradion ID (e.g. the filename will be something like P123.jpg).
If you entered your Paradion ID on setting up the document or via ‘Options’, the program will offer the correct filename when you export the document.
