MultiCFS3 is a tool to set up secondary installs of CFS3 so they don`t interact with the main install (or any other install) by using the same shared configuration folders.

This program is designed to cope both with the original CFS3 and with the 3.1 updated version.

The process is different in each case. The program should display the identified CFS3 version number in the window title bar. If it doesn`t then please don`t continue.

If it doesn't display the expected name in the edit box (i.e. Combat Flight Simulator 3.0 for an unchanged setup) then do not continue. If random text is displayed then the program has not found he correct data and cannot be used.

The program has only been tested to the extent that it does force CFS3 to create a new USER location. No extensive tests have been made with multiple CFS3 installs so there may be other hidden factors that come in to play. As far as I can tell the USER folder location is only defined in one file so all CFS3 functions that use the USER folders should be correctly redirected.

Always leave your default CFS3 install unchanged. It is possible that future addons may need to access the expected "Combat Flight Simulator 3.0" USER folders when installing so you should always have one installation of CFS3 that still uses the default USER location.

Because of all the above it is recommended that you only use the program on additional installations of CFS3. You should leave your original installation unchanged.
