EasyScan is developed as an acquisition interface for flatbed scanner using Twain standard interface capabilities from scanners drivers.

So it allows to use all Twain version 1.6 or higher compatible scanners (most of flatbed scanners are). His goal is to standardize the using of scanners which interfaces are all different, and above all to promote a powerful interface with multiple possibilities.

This software allows to scan in 256 colors, 16 colors... functions not allowed with some scanners, to flip the image, to rotate the image, to select one RGB channel... It can also store many images in order to print them once (very useful for sending FAX with multiple pages).
