CombiMovie is a free software used to combine two or more mpg/mpeg files into one continuous video file.

It works very fast, as fast as copying the files, because what it does is only reading the sourcefiles, grab the meaningful bytes and then write it into the target files.

Limitations
  • Combine only files with the same characteristics

  • CombiMovie is made with speed in mind, and to achieve that each files which will be combined are read in first into memory before further processing. After writing the data chunk, the memory will be freed for the next file etc. Base on this fact, considering to limit your to be combined files each not to be more than 8 mb.

  • CombiMovie will check first for the available space before it proceeds. But this may fail on a almost full huge harddisk (>30GB) although this has never been tested
