Secret Server is a useful and powerful web-based application that lets you to store all your passwords and other sensitive information. You can easily manage and share passwords with your colleagues and family members.
Secret Server uses US Government recommended encryption to protect your passwords inside your own database. Being web-based means you can securely access your passwords from anywhere.
Secret Server introduces the concept of folders. Instead of just creating and saving a secret, users now have the option of storing their secrets in folders. These folders help categorize secrets by separating them according to different needs. Secret Server administrators now have the option of standardizing secret names.
The Naming Standard feature helps administrators and users clearly identify secrets. It also assists them in complying with information security guidelines set by their company. Another addition to Secret Server is the enhancement of the Password Generate feature.
Administrators now have the ability to set password requirements by defining the character set and length. When users click on Generate Password while creating a secret, only passwords that meet the requirements, will be produced.
