Pro FastFind is based on the premise that computer users become subconsciously aware of the visual layout of certain windows. For instance, while navigating through the directories of Windows Explorer, users become more adept at determining where the next desired folder is - in some cases, even before the directory listing appears.
FastFind will take advantage of this trait by allowing a static, simple directory layout to be created for commonly used hierarchies and program launchers.
By allowing the user to configure a custom layout and using compact fonts and styles to see as much content as possible, he will eventually become adept at locating certain instances in the browser and thus waste less time drilling down through directories using Windows Explorer.
