You may use the tab key to move from control to control to get help information displayed in the status bar for each control.
I thought this had multiple CD drive support, but I don't see how now that I see the GUI again. This may or may not be a problem for you if you have more than one device which is able to read CDs.
The Idle priority is supposed to be used for both the ripping and encoding work. But when I tested this under XP everything else got bogged down while 32ndRipper was working. Only when I changed the app's overall priority via the Task Manager did things become "snappy" again.
If you minimize the window to the taskbar, the title of the window will be changed periodically to indicate the progress of the ripping and encoding work.
