MetaEdit software is designed to be an application that will help you never misplace files on your network again.

Companies tend to store documents throughout their network or enterprise application without maximizing the benefits of Meta
data, creating situations where thousands of documents become unnecessarily difficult to locate.

This situation is created when proper meta data entry is overlooked or poorly enforced, resulting in unmanageable, default values.
Meta Edit helps rectify this problem by allowing users to quickly gather, modify and manage this information, creating added convenience and time savings for individuals to find & retrieve documents.

Meta Edit can be used to modify document properties such as Author, Company Name, etc and has the ability to modify multiple
files at once.

Simply let Meta Edit scan your Network (or base folder), then watch as Meta Edit scans all documents and gathers meta data into a database where file properties can be added or altered according to your needs. This revised data is then saved to the individual documents, which allows for efficient file retrieval by keyword or enterprise application import.
