PTTL (Plain Text To Link) is a Firefox extension that will allow you to highlight plain text in a web page and handle it with a right click. The available functions are:

If the plain text is a link, PTTL opens it in the same window, in a new one or in a new tab. Alternatively you can bookmark it.

If the plain text is an email address, PTTL permits you to send an email to it with your email client.

If the plain text is a english word or phrase, PTTL sends it to Babelfish for a quick traduction in your language.

If the plain text is a word, PTTL permits you to search it in Google Groups.

Send selected text to a file for later viewing or add it to a previously created PTTL file. In this way you can archive important text collected in internet without everytime save a web page.
