The purpose of the program is to facilitate the editing and / or viewing of so called 'quoted text comma delimited' files.

Many times I have had a need for a better way to edit ".csv" files. The alternatives in the past have generally been overkill (Word, Microsoft SQL Server, etc) Yet the notepad.exe program is a little too crude to be used on a comma delimited file. This program is a compromise solution for situations that call for a comma delimited file editor.

Requirements
  • The program requires a machine with at least 128M of RAM memory and a hard disk. The program will not execute from a CDROM drive.

    Limitations
  • The maximum size of a file that may be loaded is equal to the installed physical RAM memory divided by approximately 25. Additionally, the file may not be larger than the available physical memory -- if it is, then the program will not load the file.
